We are looking for an exceptional, enthusiastic scientist for the position of Senior Research Scientist at Synthace. In this key role, the successful applicant will lead our efforts in mammalian cell culture, primarily in projects with major pharmaceutical companies.

Reporting to the Chief Scientific Officer, the role will involve deep collaboration with our own software developers and automation specialists, as well as our biologists and biochemical engineers. The role will be focused on making highly robust workflows for working with CHO cell lines: growth, analysis, transfection, and ultimately scale up. 

Candidate attributes and experience:

  • PhD or equivalent experience in mammalian cell culture
  • 5 years’ industrial experience in mammalian cell culture programs
  • Deep understanding of protein expression in mammalian systems
  • Highly collaborative, and able to communicate effectively across disciplines
